I created the logo for Melrose Elementary School to represent their positive and inclusive school culture while showcasing their marlin mascot as a symbol of strength and unity. Starting with a research and mood board, I drew inspiration from aquatic imagery and clean, modern designs, ensuring the marlin conveyed both energy and approachability. Through sketching and iteration, I developed a logo that highlights the marlin in motion, paired with bold, friendly typography that reinforces the school's dynamic yet welcoming spirit.

The final design incorporates a vibrant color palette of blues and accents, reflecting both the mascot’s natural habitat and the uplifting values of the Melrose High Five Plan. This versatile logo is designed to stand out across uniforms, signage, and other applications, effectively embodying the school’s mission of academic and social success.
