Fun Fact - One of my first jobs
Busboy/Host | Disneyland Hotel | The Walt Disney Company Feb 1988 - Oct 1991
Worked at the Monorail Café and the Chef’s Kitchen Character Breakfast (now Goofy’s Kitchen) at the Disneyland Hotel. Started as a busboy, clearing tables and helping servers during busy breakfast and lunch rushes. Promoted to host, where I greeted guests, managed the seating chart, and helped keep things moving smoothly. At the Character Breakfast, I also assisted with small tasks behind the scenes, like helping restock drinks and snacks for the performers in costume. It was my first real job, fast-paced, high-volume, and the place where I learned what great guest service really looks like.
